Vasu is a co-founder and co-managing partner of Imperial Law Offices. Prior to starting Imperial Law Offices, Vasu held the position as Principal Associate with Vaish Associates Advocates, New Delhi and Associate with PRA Law Offices from September 2011 to August 2019. Prior to the above, Vasu holds experience of working as company secretary for 2.5 years. His practice areas include Corporate & Commercial, Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Private Equity, Foreign Investment and General Corporate matters.

Vasu advises his clients on the matter related to acquisitions, joint ventures, business transfers, private equity and restructuring transactions along with foreign investment related matters. The work profile includes inter-alia drafting, negotiation and finalization of term sheets, business transfer agreements, slump sale agreements, share purchase agreement, share transfer agreements, share subscription cum shareholders agreements, investment agreements, joint venture agreements, escrow arrangements, and other transaction specific commercial agreements along with conducting legal due diligences. Vasu also had the opportunity of advising a client housing finance company on securitization and medium-term note transactions. In addition to above, he has the advisory and execution experience of joint venture dispute settlement matters which included drafting, negotiation, and finalization of settlement agreements and other ancillary documents.
Vasu advises and assists clients in relation to various inbound and outbound investments along with setting up of entities, non-profit organization, non-banking finance companies, liaison/branch, and project offices.
In addition to the foregoing Vasu has hands on experience of drafting, vetting, negotiation and finalization of diverse commercial agreements viz master service agreements, contract manufacturing agreements, marketing and distribution agreements, master purchase and supply agreements, technology transfer agreements, confidentiality agreements, lease agreements etc.
Vasu has also been advising and rendering opinion on diverse issues under corporate laws, exchange control regulations, employment laws and commercial laws.
